User level

The software can operate in two user modes: Novice and Expert mode. By default, the software is set to Novice mode, hiding all advanced setting tabs and options in the software. When Expert mode is enabled, all setting tabs will be shown.

• I am an Expert
  Select this option and press the Configure… button to gain access to all of PlanetDNS Client's setting tabs and advanced options.
   

• I am an Novice
  Select this option press the Configure… button to hide all of PlanetDNS Client's advanced tabs and options.

Language

Select your desired language. Currently, PlanetDNS Client supports the English-US language.

Providers

Select all of the PlanetDNS service providers to maintain an active link to your Internet name and registration information, so your computer is accessible to you and others over the Internet.

Options

The following PlanetDNS Client options are available for you to enable:

• Show tips at Startup
  Check this option to display the Tip of the Day dialog each time the software properties are opened.
   

• Launch Web Browser
  Check this option to view the release notes each time the software is started.
   

• Check File Association  
  Check this option to enable one-time plug-in installations.
   

• Popup Notifications
  Check this option to enable notices that are displayed in the Windows XP style balloon (yellow) whenever PlanetDNS Client detects a change in your Internet connection.
