You can install the software to run as a system service, where PlanetRemote
is automatically started each time you start Windows®
before you logon.
To Install the Software as a System Service
Right-mouse click
on the PlanetRemote icon in the system tray (along the
bottom of your screen against the right corner) and select
Properties...

Click on the Service
tab.
NOTE: If
you do not see the Service tab, it means that the
software is running in Novice mode. To see the Service tab, you must set
the software to Expert mode.

The Service Installation Status will indicate
Not Installed and
the Service Status will indicate Not
Running .
To install the service, select the Run
as a System Service (recommended) option.
Press the Apply
button.
The Service installation Status will now indicate
Installed (shown
below).
The Service Status will indicate Stopped
. To re-initialize the software as a system service, you
will need to restart your computer.

Restart your computer.
After your computer has restarted, click the Service tab again to confirm that PlanetRemote
is running as a system service.
With PlanetRemote running as a system service,
the Service Installation Status will indicate Installed
(green light, shown below) and the Service Status
will indicate Running (green light, shown below).
