User Level

PlanetRemote can operate in either of two user modes: Novice or Expert mode. By default, the software is set to Novice mode, which hides advanced tabs and options. In Expert mode, all tabs will be visible.

• I am an Expert
  Select this option to gain access to all of PlanetRemote's tabs and advanced options.
   

• I am an Novice
  Select this option to hide all of PlanetRemote's advanced tabs and options.

Options

Enable select user support options.

• Show tips at Startup
  Check this option to display the Tip of the Day dialog each time PlanetRemote's properties are opened.
   

• Do not show tray icon
  This option is not available in PlanetRemote.
   

• Disable all Balloon Pop-up notifications
  Check this option to disable all notifications that are displayed in the Windows XP-style (yellow) balloon, whenever PlanetRemote reports a system message.
