After you have set your remote login password in PlanetRemote, you will need to enable the remote control access feature. When remote control access is enabled, the PlanetRemote icon in your computer's system tray (bottom right corner of your screen) will be green .

 

To Enable Remote Control Access
 

  1.  Right-mouse click on the PlanetRemote icon and select Properties...

    Starting the PlanetDNS Client
     

  2. Click on the VNC tab.


     

  3. Select the Allow this computer to be controlled remotely (recommended) option.
     

  4. Push the Apply button to save the changes.
     

  5. Push the OK button in the VNC tab to close the PlanetRemote Properties.
     

  6. The PlanetRemote icon in your computer's system tray should be green , indicating that remote control connections have been enabled.
