If you are upgrading an existing installation of PlanetRemote, please follow the steps below:

Uninstall Previous Version

First, uninstall the previous version on your computer. You can do this by using the Add/Remove Programs in your WIndows control panel. Locate the previous version and select the Add/Remove button. After the software has been removed, a prompt box advising you to restart your computer might appear.

Download and Install New Version

1. If you haven't already, download the new version of PlanetRemote from the PlanetDNS website at http://www.planetdns.net/download/planetremote/ and, when prompted, save it to your desktop.
2. Once the downloading process has been completed, double-click on the PlanetRemote icon on your desktop.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions for installing the upgrade.
