You can start the software by clicking on the PlanetRemote Viewer icon found in the file you specified on your computer when you downloaded the application from the PlanetDNS website. We suggest the software be downloaded to your desktop, as you will want ready access to the application.

 

To start the software

 

  1. Click on the PlanetRemote Viewer icon on your desktop

  2. Once the software has initialized, it will show the PlanetRemote icon in your computers system tray (along the bottom of your screen against the right corner).

Now that you have the software running, the next step is to set the default connection settings that will be used when controlling PlanetRemote-enabled computers.
